Strawberries 7 Ways

Three cheers for my favorite berry. You ought to be a proper noun, Strawberry. I could rave on and on about the strawberry: how sweet it is on shortcake, how juicy it tastes at the bottom of a champagne flute, how it makes my breakfast smoothies happy and pink. I
picked 19 lbs of fresh organic perfect strawberries
this summer, and all was gone in the matter of 2 weeks. 19 pounds of strawberries, in my belly. Sorry I’m not sorry, strawberry.  Here are some ideas to get creative with the berry that knows no bounds:

    peanut-butter-strawberries

    1) Peanut butter strawberry cups. (I recommend fresh ground honey roasted peanut butter).

    2) Frozen Greek yogurt dipped strawberries.

    strawberry-skewers

    3) Frozen strawberry skewers.  Keep in freezer and have on hand for unexpected guests.

What’s your favorite way to eat strawberries?
