101 in 1001: François the (French) Fish

went out for groceries yesterday, and came home with a new pet fish. It wasn’t an impulsive purchase, I’ve wanted a goldfish for a long while. I wanted one because they remind me of my childhood, I love having animals around, and they are low maintenance (I feed him every other day a few pellets, and will be changing his water once a week).

IMG_0566IMG_0549IMG_0553I’ve set an intention to focus on small, simple things that brighten my day (see my weekly 5 Wins series for more things that make me smile). Life is busy and hectic. François the (French) Fish reminds me to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.

This crosses off #45 on my 101 things to do in 1001 days list.  Welcome to the family, Frank. I promise to not let the furbaby eat you.
