My friend Lisa got me a Whirley-Pop Popcorn Popper for my birthday one year, and I LOVE it. I use it all the time. It can make up to 6 quartz of popcorn in about 3 minutes. It has a patented stirring mechanism that prevents the kernels from burning. My favorite part about popcorn is getting creative with the toppings. Here are 4 of my favorite (and easy) popcorn recipes, just in time for an Oscar party tonight!

While the popcorn is still hot, put it in a plastic bag and pour the hot sauce inside. Shake vigorously until the popcorn is coated. Sprinkle the powdered cheddar cheese in the bag and shake vigorously again. Serve right away.

6 cups popcorn, popped

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1/3 cup pecorino cheese, finely & freshly grated

2 tsp truffle salt

1 1/2 tsp fresh rosemary, minced

In a large bowl, drizzle some of the melted butter over the popcorn, then sprinkle lightly with truffle salt, rosemary and pecorino. Toss a bit and repeat as many times as needed; taste as you go. (This one is my absolute favorite!)

6 cups popcorn, popped

20 Oreos, finely crushed

24 oz. white chocolate

Melt white chocolate according to package buy sildenafil citrate online usa directions until completely melted and smooth consistency. Use a double broiler so you don’t burn the chocolate. Drizzle melted chocolate over popped popcorn that is spread out onto a cookie sheet. Sprinkle finely crushed Oreo crumbs through out popcorn to evenly distribute. Let chocolate cool and harden. Break into smaller chunks and serve.

6 cups popcorn, popped

6 tbsp butter

1/3 cup dark brown sugar

3 tbsp light corn syrup

Heaping 1/4 tsp salt, plus more for sprinkling

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 tbsp bourbon

Pop the popcorn and transfer it to a large bowl. Cook the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt in a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat, stirring consistently. Once the mixture comes to a boil, cook another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the bourbon and vanilla. Stir thoroughly and immediately pour over the popcorn. Use a rubber spatula to stir until the popcorn is coated. Then spread it out onto a baking sheet in an even layer. Sprinkle a wee bit more salt on top. Bake for 35 minutes, midway stirring the popcorn once more time. Let cool before eating.

I found the classic red and white stripe boxes here.
